Job Description

What you get to do in this role:  

​​​​​Demo Development:

- Collaborate with product managers, CSM solution architects, developers, and sales operations teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the features, modules, integrations, and capabilities offered by our ServiceNow CSM and Sales & Order Management products.

- Create interactive and engaging software demonstrations that showcase the platform's capabilities in customer service management, sales automation, order management, and more, highlighting functionalities such as case management, self-service portals, knowledge management, forecasting, order processing, and revenue tracking.

- Customize demos to address specific pain points and use cases within different industries, business verticals, and sales scenarios, ensuring a tailored experience that demonstrates the value and efficiency gains from using our integrated ServiceNow solutions.

- Develop tools, utilities, and scripts to simplify demo configurations for the sales team, enhancing their ability to showcase the platform effectively during sales engagements.

Technical Expertise:

- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the technical architecture, integration possibilities, and underlying technologies of the ServiceNow CSM platform, with a special focus on sales and order management modules.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across ServiceNow's suite of products, with an emphasis on sales and order management integrations. Drive resolution and ensure seamless demo and product experiences.

- Provide guidance to the Sales team in creating custom sales and order management demonstrations, leveraging your expertise to highlight system capabilities and integration strengths.

Live Presentations:

- Conduct live, interactive software demonstrations and workshops for sales teams, stakeholders, and customers, focusing on the integration and benefits of using ServiceNow for both customer service management and sales/order management.

- Communicate effectively the value proposition, benefits, and differentiators of ServiceNow's integrated solutions, ensuring audiences understand the holistic impact on their business processes.

Feedback and Improvement:

- Solicit and incorporate feedback from sales teams, stakeholders, and customers to continuously improve the relevance, effectiveness, and impact of demonstrations.

- Refine demo content based on feedback, industry trends, and emerging needs, ensuring demonstrations remain cutting-edge and directly aligned with market demands.

Market Awareness:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in customer service, sales, and order management to enhance the quality, competitiveness, and relevance of your demonstrations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- 3-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow platform development.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow development tools, including Scripting (JavaScript, Jelly), HTML, CSS, Glide API, and experience with React/Angular or similar frameworks.

- Strong experience with ServiceNow integration methods (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.) and third-party integrations, particularly in the context of sales and order management systems.

- Experience in software demonstrations, technical sales engineering, or related roles, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow's CSM and sales/order management modules.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language for various audiences.

- Quick problem-solving skills to address technical challenges during live demos and sales engagements.

- ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist CSM, etc.) are highly regarded, especially those related to sales and order management products.
