Job Description

The Solution Sales Representative will contribute to the market success of ServiceNow's Technology Workflows products. These products are built on our market leading AI capable ServiceNow platform and enable customers to deliver excellence in IT management and service delivery.

What you get to do in this role

The Solution Sales Representative supports the strategy and solution win for Technology Workflow deals. This role will work along side Senior Solution Sales Executives and will therefore gain valuable coaching and skills development. Responsibilities will include;

  • Support the achievement of sales targets through delivering specialist selling expertise during the stages of the sales cycle.
  • Constantly build expertise and domain skills to deliver the required input into sales stages to correctly position ServiceNow Technology Workflows solutions.
  • Work with customers in a consultative manner to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges.
  • Deliver expertise in matching ServiceNow solutions to customer challenges.
  • Develop and address specific customer use cases with ServiceNow solutions.
  • Build and master the ability to demonstrate and evangelize the Technology Workflows solutions.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape and how ServiceNow’s value proposition delivers superior customer value.
  • Provide expertise on platform licensing, commercials, and proposal creation.
  • Address customer objections and questions to help them get clarity on the proposed solution.
  • Support and give input to the sales territory planning and account planning processes.
  • Execute your sales activity with a deep understanding of the value of the NOW platform and an ability to articulate ServiceNow’s AI value proposition along with customer stories.
  • Coach adjacent teams with foundational specialty solution area knowledge to identify specialty solution opportunities and help manage the sales cycle.
  • Execute with a strong demonstration of ServiceNow’s core values: Wow our Customers, Win as a Team, Create Belonging, Stay Hungry and Humble.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience in enterprise software or consulting services.
  • Experience in selling enterprise-class solutions.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand the challenges a prospect is facing and translate those into business outcomes ServiceNow can deliver, and to communicate the value.
  • A thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress short but complex sales cycles.
  • Presentation skills via web-based tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills – Ability to build meaningful business relationships with ServiceNow customers, prospects, and internal colleagues.
  • Persistent, dependable, and accountable.
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing and growing environment.
