Job Description

We are looking for a Resource Management Partner to join our global MarCom Operations team. This is a high-visibility, embedded role that sits at the intersection of finance, procurement, and marketing—giving you broad exposure to how a world-class marketing organization plans and runs its business. You will serve as the dedicated operational partner for one or more marketing business units, acting as their go-to expert across budget management, financial planning, procurement, vendor relationships, and contractor workforce oversight. You are the person marketers turn to when they need something to move: removing friction, keeping spend on track, and translating financial complexity into clear, actionable guidance. Your work directly enables teams to invest with confidence and execute without operational drag. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with precision in a fast-paced, global environment. This role will report into the Director of Resource Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Planning & Annual Operating Plan: Own the annual budget planning process for your supported marketing teams, partnering with team leaders to translate priorities into financial plans. You’ll help decision-makers see around corners—ensuring spend is structured to support the year’s most important bets from the start.
  • Forecast Management & Spend Accuracy: Monitor budget performance daily, updating forecasts and flagging variances before they become problems. You will be the early-warning system that keeps teams from overspending or under-investing, and the consistent voice ensuring forecast data stays accurate across financial systems.
  • Financial Insight & Analysis: Go beyond the numbers to deliver meaningful analysis—identifying spend trends, surfacing cost efficiency opportunities, and connecting investment patterns to business outcomes. Your insights will shape how leaders allocate resources and evaluate trade-offs.
  • Business Rhythm & Reporting: Drive a consistent cadence of financial reviews, preparing regular reporting packages that give leaders a clear picture of where they stand against plan. You will facilitate monthly business reviews, flag risks and opportunities, and ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time to support confident decision-making.
  • Procurement & Purchase Order Management: Own the end-to-end purchasing process on behalf of marketing teams—from raising purchase requests and navigating approvals to managing revisions and closing out completed orders. You will be the connection between marketing and procurement that keeps work moving without delay, ensuring every transaction follows policy and every dollar is accounted for.
  • Month-End Close & Reconciliation: Partner with the Finance team to ensure a clean, on-time month-end close. This includes reconciling accruals against actuals, resolving outstanding purchase orders, supporting invoice approvals, and processing budget transfers and corporate card transactions—the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the books accurate and auditable.
  • Vendor Relationship & Cost Management: Manage the full lifecycle of marketing’s external vendor relationships—from onboarding new suppliers and reviewing contracts to conducting quarterly performance reviews and identifying opportunities to reduce costs or consolidate spend. You will coordinate with Strategic Sourcing to ensure the organization is getting maximum value from its vendor portfolio and that governance standards are consistently met.
  • Contingent Workforce Administration: Oversee the operational management of contract workers embedded in marketing teams—coordinating onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing expense tracking to ensure contractor spend stays aligned with headcount plans. You will work across HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to make sure the right resources are in place, properly accounted for, and compliant with workforce policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Build trusted working relationships across Finance, Procurement, HR, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams. Your established network and institutional knowledge will be the shortcut that gets issues resolved faster—reducing the back-and-forth that slows marketing teams down.
  • Operational Standardization & Continuous Improvement: Champion consistent, repeatable processes that make the team more accurate and efficient over time. You will identify operational gaps, propose improvements, and help build the playbooks and standards that scale best practices across the broader marketing organization.
  • Risk & Opportunity Identification: Proactively surface budget risks and under-utilized funding, bringing forward recommendations—not just observations. You will help teams re-allocate resources dynamically, protect against year-end surprises, and make the most of every dollar in the plan.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure all financial and procurement activities across your supported teams meet company policy and audit requirements. You will be the steward of accuracy and accountability—maintaining documentation standards, meeting reporting deadlines, and keeping teams informed of policy changes that affect how they operate.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial operations, budget management, procurement, or a related business partner role, ideally supporting a marketing, sales, or other commercial function within a large enterprise.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communicator who can translate financial complexity into clear, concise guidance for non-finance audiences, and build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
  • High proficiency with AI applications, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific budgeting practices and trends.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or international organization.
  • Experience working with external vendors, particularly vendor selection, contracting, onboarding, and cost optimization in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing.
  • Experience in building and customizing PivotTables and PivotCharts for data analysis and reporting.
