Job Description

Team & Role

This role is part of our Product Design team that uses their superpower of empathizing, understanding, and applying our users’ and customers’ needs, with the mission to created product experiences they love. This role will work to shape our enterprise AI assistant experience within Slack and Microsoft Teams. At ServiceNow, design has a very intentional seat at the table, so our team collaborates closely with both engineering and product management from the get-go.

What you get to do in this role:

Own strategic design initiatives for Slack and Teams, shaping product direction and building a best-in-class AI assistant that transforms how employees work.
Define end-to-end experiences, interaction patterns, and frameworks that extend across assistant surfaces, bringing broader product innovations into chat and shaping the wider experience through your work.
Provide strategic direction and hands-on design leadership, partnering closely with India-based engineering teams and global product and design leaders.
Keep initiatives aligned with the broader assistant strategy, sharing insights and decisions across teams and building a cohesive experience.
Elevate design quality through craft, mentorship, and influence across the organization.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction design, systems thinking, and end-to-end product ownership.
Experience leading complex, cross-product initiatives and influencing product strategy across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience designing AI-powered products, collaboration tools, or enterprise workflows. Familiarity with Slack or Microsoft Teams is a plus.
Strong hands-on design skills, from concepts and prototypes through detailed specifications and implementation.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance user needs with platform constraints, and communicate decisions clearly across global teams.
A track record of mentoring designers and raising the bar for product experiences.
