Job Description

This role reports to the AP Manager with responsibility to work on the internal and external AP queries, track them through case management, drive customer satisfaction through prompt responses.

The successful candidate must have attention to details with knowledge of E2E Accounts Payable process, highly self-motivated and prompt in taking quick actions. 

What you get to do in this role:

  • Detailed oriented with deep knowledge in E2E AP process, Accounting, with good understanding of upstream and downstream processes and impacts with an exposure to US, EUROPE and APAC regions.
  • AP Customer Service through case management: Track all internal and external queries received from business owners and vendors, ensure those are actioned promptly as per agreed SLA by maintaining high quality resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular internal and external surveys to check the pulse on customer satisfaction. Take the feedback, identify the scope for improvements and put an action plan to drive the efficiency.
  • Flexible to support the business requirements on invoice processing, payment processing, Adhoc reporting and clean-up activities.
  • Understanding of basics on boundary systems like Supplier enablement, Ariba, VIM.
  • Ability and interest to learn and work on process like Quality Audit, Duplication review, Data scrubbing, reports/metrics preparation.
  • Introduce automated replies on basic queries, send mass email communications to internal business owners and or vendors as per business requirements.
  • Maintain 100% SLA by replying to queries withing 24-48 hours.
  • Exposure to Merger and Acquisition (M&A) management will be an added advantage.
  • Maintain process integrity, internal SOX controls, system controls, operational controls and ensure compliance with all ServiceNow policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, SOX controls, government and/or legal requirements.
  • Flexible to work in various shifts (including night shift) as per business requirements is a must.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Superb attention to details, quality and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of India specific AP with TDS, GST and other tax compliance is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, and the ability to work effectively.
  • Excellent communications skills: written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Ability to operate successfully across diverse geographical locations and cultures.
  • Business Partnership, build relationships and trust.

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of various platforms, process and systems controls, and process documentation.
  • Knowledge of P2P functions, general accounting practices, and SOX requirements is a must.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) is a must.

Preferred Technical Skills and Experience:

  • SAP, VIM and Ariba,  
  • Experience working in a multinational or global Finance organization.
