Job Description

Part of the Global GTM Strategy team, this role will focus on major opportunities to advance our Global Go-to-market efforts, and serve as thought leader & business partner to leaders within our Global Field and Customer Success teams.

You be a player and coach, rolling up your sleeves to get work done while also structuring workstreams and working cross-functionally to ensure our senior leaders have data-driven, practical approaches to help our customers get the value from the platform.

You are expected to be able to drive work cross-functionally across the entire go-to-market organization to deliver against C-suite priorities.

In this role you will work on highly complex problems and help senior leaders organize, prioritize and execute their strategic agenda.

Examples of past projects include: Developing a strategy and business case for our channel businesses, establishing our ServiceNow.org business, launching a new role to help customers get to value post-sale, developing an approach for what investments are needed (and ROI) for investment, validating the levers for our path to $15B+, and creating annual 3-year strategy for key functions from which annual priorities - like several mentioned above - are derived.

Preferred candidates will have not only several years of top-tier management consulting experience; but also, considerable go-to-market operating experience within Enterprise Software or Technology.

What you get in this role:

  • Own the end-to-end work process to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and drive actionable recommendations
  • Partner with the Field, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling actionable recommendations to accelerate ServiceNow’s path to $15B+
  • Provide thought leadership and influence decision-making within executive audiences
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, and accelerate execution
  • In coordination with SVP Corp Strategy, act as a strategic advisor to the Go-to-Market leaders across key initiatives impacting ServiceNow growth

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have: 

  • 6+ years total work experience with 2+ years post-MBA at a top management consulting firm, private equity, or strategy and operations at a technology company (or similar)
  • Effective communicator, able to synthesize complex ideas into clear, concise recommendations; comfortable in business and technical discussions
  • Experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others (incl. executive audiences)
  • Strong people development and leadership skills; able to manage multiple extended or virtual teams
  • Collaborative team player who is also an independent thinker
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments
  • Expertise in the enterprise software/ SaaS industry: GTM Strategy/ Ops, and/ or Customer Success/ post-sales strategy preferred

 

 

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $184,700 - $323,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
