Job Description
Global Mobility and Immigration is a strategic enabler of how ServiceNow attracts, deploys, and retains world-class talent globally. As Senior Manager of Global Mobility and Immigration, you will lead the strategy, operations, and evolution of ServiceNow's US immigration programs while partnering with our global mobility leadership on cross-border workforce solutions.
You will work closely with Global People leadership, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, Legal, Tax, Finance, and business leaders to develop scalable U.S. immigration solutions that enable business growth while balancing employee experience, operational excellence, and compliance.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence - building scalable programs while remaining closely connected to the day-to-day realities of supporting a large US workforce. We're seeking a forward-thinking leader who leverages AI-powered tools, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve decision-making, increase operational efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and scale immigration programs.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and business partnership
- Define and execute ServiceNow's US immigration strategy, aligning programs with business growth, workforce planning, US hiring objectives, and talent acquisition initiatives.
- Own the strategic selection, governance, and optimization of the US immigration vendor ecosystem, including leading major RFPs and transition management to drive cost efficiency and service scalability.
- Lead immigration readiness for new entity setups, corporate acquisitions, and cross-border equity compliance, ensuring seamless operational support.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to People leadership and key stakeholders on US immigration matters, workforce policy changes, and emerging immigration trends.
- Partner with leaders across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition Global People Operations, Legal, Tax and Finance to align immigration programs with evolving business needs and workforce requirements.
- Assess immigration implications related to US organizational changes, acquisitions, and workforce model evolution.
- Develop scalable solutions that balance employee experience, compliance, operational efficiency, and business objectives.
Operations and program delivery
- Own end-to-end management of US immigration case processing, approvals, and employee communications, ensuring timely and compliant outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks for US immigration programs that align with federal regulations and ServiceNow's business needs.
- Manage budget and resource allocation for immigration programs, driving cost optimization and ROI.
Technology, analytics and continuous improvement
- Champion the use of technology, automation, AI, and data-driven insights to modernize immigration programs and enhance scalability.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and enhance service delivery through innovative solutions.
- Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into program performance, costs, compliance status, case timelines, and workforce trends.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Qualifications
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading US immigration, global mobility, or international workforce programs within multinational organizations.
- Demonstrated experience managing US immigration programs with deep knowledge of employment-based visas (H-1B, L-1, EB categories), immigration regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of building and scaling immigration programs that actively drive business outcomes like offer-acceptance, retention, and hiring velocity.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, automation, AI, and data-driven insights to improve operational effectiveness and scale programs.
- Strong understanding of US immigration law, regulations, employer compliance requirements, and their impact on program design and vendor management.
- Experience developing and scaling programs in a high-growth or complex business environment.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and leading cross-functional initiatives across HR, Legal, Tax, and Finance.
- Strong track record of driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and scalable operating models.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence globally distributed stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience evaluating, implementing, or championing AI-enabled tools and workflows within HR, immigration, or operational environments.
- Experience within a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
- Experience supporting publicly traded organizations with large US or global workforces.
- AILA membership or professional immigration credentials.
- Experience with immigration-specific platforms and case management systems.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $133,600 - $233,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
